Behind The Scenes: Making a community garden

Let's feed our community

There are many people that recently lost thier jobs, and for the first time may be thinking about where their next meal will come from. We heard from some local organizaions that a lot of people may need food assisstance. We know that one 4 x 4 raised bed is not going to feed a ton of people, but we want to do our part to contribute. If a lot of people did a small part, like adding a raised bed to their home or office, that could feed a lot of people.

Gardening is also an activity that can be stress relieving. After being stuck in the house for days or weeks, this can be something that the whole family can do together, and create some positive energy.
